“Design our Logo” Competition organised to Mark 25 Years of Diplomatic Relations Between India and Dominican Republic

Delhi – On the occasion of the celebration of 25 years of diplomatic relations between India and the Dominican Republic, the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in India, in collaboration with the Embassy of India in the Dominican Republic, launched  in January 2024 the “Design our Logo” competition, inviting citizens from both countries to design a special logo reflecting the strong ties and shared values between India and the Dominican Republic.

The competition attracted around 100 creative entries, each presenting a unique take on the theme of friendship and collaboration between the two nations.  A panel of judges, composed of representatives from both embassies, reviewed the entries and selected Mr. Syed Momin Iqbal from Rampur as the winner. Mr. Iqbal’s design intertwined the emblems of both nations and incorporated the colours of their respective flags, beautifully capturing the spirit of this 25-year diplomatic journey.

The winning logo will be featured during official events and activities organized by the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in India and the Embassy of India in the Dominican Republic during the yearlong celebration of 25 years of diplomatic relations between both countries.
