AGREEMENTS
Since the establishment of their diplomatic relations in 1999, Dominican Republic and India have created a framework to facilitate regular engagements at the political, cooperation, academic and cultural levels.
2001 - MoU for the realization of regular political consultations
2006 - Bilateral cooperation agreement
2010 - MoU to set up an IT center of excellence in the DR (established in 2011)
2012 - Cultural cooperation agreement
2015 - Agreement for cooperation on renewable energies
2016 - Agreement on the gainful occupation of family members of diplomatic staff
2017 - MoU between the diplomatic schools of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Dominican Republic and India
2019 - Agreement on the exemption of visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and official passports
2023 - Framework Agreement for collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology (MESCYT) and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD)
2023 - Framework Agreement for collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology (MESCYT) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc)
