Dominican Republic Delegation at the 46th UNESCO World Heritage Meeting
Delhi - Mr. Juan Mubarak, Director of National Monumental Heritage at the Ministry of Culture, represented the Dominican Republic in the 46th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Meeting held in New Delhi in July 2024, alongside Ambassador David Puig and Minister Counsellor Gustavo Sosa.
The UNESCO World Heritage Meeting, a pivotal event in the preservation of global cultural and natural heritage, provided a crucial platform for discussions on the future of world heritage sites. This year, the meeting in New Delhi drew representatives from across the globe, underscoring the importance of international collaboration in safeguarding our shared heritage.
