Dominican Republic Participates in the 64th International Sugar Organization Council Meeting in New Delhi

Delhi - The Dominican Republic made a significant contribution to the 64th International Sugar Organization (ISO) Council Meeting held in June 2024 in New Delhi, India. A delegation from INAZUCAR, the National Institute for Sugar, led by its Director General, Máximo Pérez Pérez, represented the country at the event. Ambassador David Puig and Minister Counsellor Gustavo Sosa also attended the ISO Administrative Committee meetings, further strengthening the Dominican Republic's presence and engagement in discussions that shape the future of the global sugar market. The ISO Council Meeting serves as a critical platform for member states to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities within the sugar industry.
