Dominican Republic participate as a partner country in the 2nd Annual Select Group Golf Invitational

The Dominican Republic’s Embassy in India had a distinguished participation in the 2nd Annual Select Group Golf Invitational, held on January 11 and 12, 2025, at Heritage Village Resort & Spa and ITC Classic Golf and Country Club in Manesar, India. This prestigious event brought together prominent Indian business leaders and distinguished international participants, united by their passion for golf.

For the gala dinner of the event, the Embassy organized an immersive Dominican experience, featuring premium cigar and rum tastings, highlighting the excellence and craftsmanship of the country’s iconic products. Promotional videos showcased the Dominican Republic’s strengths as a premier tourism, trade and investment destination in the Caribbean region.  The initiative garnered significant interest among attendees, with several participants expressing interest in the Dominican Republic.

By actively engaging in this high-profile event, the Dominican Republic further solidified its reputation as a supplier of world-class products, while fostering new business and investment opportunities. The participation aligns with the country’s strategic foreign policy objectives, to reinforce its presence in key international trade and investment networks.
