Ambassador David Puig visits Mizoram for the LEI Literary Festival

Delhi – Ambassador David Puig participated in the inaugural edition of the LEI Literary Festival, held on October 17 and 18 in Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. Organised by The Book Café Aizawl, this unique initiative aimed to build bridges between Mizoram's literary culture, the broader Indian literary landscape, and global literature. 

The event brought together writers, thinkers, and literary enthusiasts. Ambassador Puig's presence underscored the festival's goal of fostering cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration. 

During his visit to Aizawl, Ambassador Puig paid a courtesy visit to Mizoram's Chief Minister, Shri Lalduhoma. During the meeting they exchanged on the state’s current socio-economic situation and initiatives, and they explored opportunities for deeper ties between Mizoram and the Dominican Republic.
