ProDominicana and Invest India sign a Memorandum of Understanding

New Delhi- In a significant development aimed at enhancing the bilateral economic relations between India and the Dominican Republic, ProDominicana, the Dominican Republic Trade and Investment promotion agency, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its Indian counterpart, Invest India.  Ms. Biviana Riveiro, Executive Director of ProDominicana, and Nivruti Rai, Managing Director of Invest India, signed on behalf of their respective institution, in a ceremony held in New Delhi, on 2nd August 2023.

Designed to increase the cooperation between both agencies, the MoU contemplates the reciprocal support to business delegations as well as the exchange of information and best practices for attracting investments. Each party agreed to inform each other of investment opportunities, investment-related laws and regulations, and to share general updates on investments in their respective countries. The MoU also pave the way to sharing data on bilateral investment flows and exchanging information on both governments investment promotion activities and services. 

The Memorandum of Understanding between ProDominicana and Invest India was signed as part of the work visit to India of Biviana Riveiro who participated in the 9th edition of the India-LAC Business Conclave organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry and held in New Delhi from the 3rd to the 5th August 2023.
